We had some more practice with fitting the adjectives (describing words) to the nouns (naming words) - just think of the rhyme!!
Last week I said that I thought it was time to concentrate a bit more on pronunciation, so we jumped ahead a bit to lesson 20, talked more about vowel sounds & the strong syllable - once you 'get' this, you'll be able to pronounce anything & be understood - so it's worth working on it!!
for homework, underline the strong syllables on the text on page 52 - next week we'll go over it & have some practice with tongue-twisters, too
we also labelled up the rooms on pages 26 - 30 - more work with that next week, too
